CAN I STORE MY VEHICLE IN YOUR FACILITY?
We do allow vehicle storage. Motorcycles and ATVs fit nicely in a 10x10’ unit. Small sports cars can typically fit in a 10x15’ storage unit. We recommend 10x20’ or 10x25’ for most average sized vehicles. Keep in mind these are the outside or estimated measurements and that the roll-up doors are roughly 8x8’. We are happy to assist you in finding an option that works for you.
DO YOU OFFER MILITARY STORAGE?
Sebago Storage was created and built by an Army veteran, and we are proud to offer storage to active duty, reservists, and veterans at a discounted rate. Inquire with us for more information.
WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept cash, money order and check at our office in Raymond. There’s a mail slot for after hours payments and the mailing address is 3 Murray Dr, Raymond, ME 04071 (you can use this mailing address to send your payment if you’re renting a unit at the Naples location as well). We also have an AutoPay option, in which a card is securely stored on file and charged each month. Additionally, we offer electronic invoicing where we send you a secure payment link to complete in your own time each month.
DO YOU OFFER OUTSIDE STORAGE FOR CAMPERS OR BOATS?
At this time we are not offering outside storage.
IS THERE SOMEONE THERE WHO CAN HELP ME MOVE?
At this time we are not offering moving services.
DO YOU INSURE THE CONTENTS?
We do not insure the contents of your storage unit. We advise reaching out to your home owner’s or renter’s insurance company to find out what’s covered under your policy and what is required when making a claim. They will be your best resource.
ARE YOUR UNITS CLIMATE CONTROLLED?
None of our current units are climate controlled.
IS A SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
We collect a one-time security deposit on all rentals with the first month’s rent. The fee is $25 regardless of unit size. It is refundable if all payments are made on time, you provide us two weeks notice prior to vacating, and you leave the unit in the same condition as when you rented it.
WHAT IS THE MOVE-OUT PROCEDURE?
Kindly give us two weeks written or verbal notice prior to vacating, then remove all belongings, and sweep the unit out. At that point give us a call or send an email to let us know it’s empty. Easy!
IF I KNOW I’M MOVING OUT BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH DO I STILL NEED TO PAY RENT ON THE 1ST?
Yes. Rent is due on the first of every month. If you know you’re moving out, let us know. If you move out prior to the 15th of any month and you have followed the move-out and security deposit procedures, we are happy to prorate your rent and issue you a refund.
